The temporary gasket got us the rest of the way to Idaho and to the eclipse, and then 750 miles home, but it looks like the hot exhaust gasses have taken their toll on my scrap material cutout.
When the van was built not many could have imagined an Amazon replacement for $4 with free 2 day delivery. What next? Free installation?
The new gasket is in and the van is ready to go. We have a Tahoe backpacking trip in a few weeks. Zoom!
